Always take this with you!
You might think I'm crazy but it can save your life!
Always bring 000 steel wool in a small plastic bag, to start fires.
What! you say why not matches? Well sure, but steel wool has some advantages.
1. The slightest spark will ignite it and it burns hot!
2. You can ignite it with a small battery, a spark from metal and rock, or a match, lighter even your eye glasses in the sun.
It is a starter and tender all in one, try it always practice
in advance and know its limits.
